User guide

For surveyors and fee-earners. This is the guide for the people who actually use Claude day to day.

The good news: there is very little for you to do. Chronity is designed so that you carry on working in Claude exactly as you would anyway, and the compliance record happens behind you. You won't be asked to tag matters, fill in a sign-off form, or clear a queue.

This guide covers the handful of things that are worth knowing:

  • Getting connected — the one-time setup that links Claude to Chronity. Usually five minutes.
  • What Chronity captures — exactly what is recorded as you work, what isn't, and why your client data is safe.
  • Your Home dashboard — the page you land on, and what the numbers on it mean.
  • Daily Health — the one health indicator worth a glance.
  • Your reliability notes — the written reliability decisions Chronity drafts in your name, and why they're useful to you personally.
  • Your alerts — the rare occasions Chronity flags something.
  • Feedback & profile — telling us something's wrong, and your account settings.

New to Chronity?

Read What Chronity Connect is and How it works first. Ten minutes there will save you confusion everywhere else.

The portal at a glance

When you sign in to the portal you get a left-hand sidebar with a Portal group — that's yours:

Page What it's for
Home Your starting point: today's activity, write-path health, anything waiting.
Daily Health Proof the connection to Microsoft 365 is working.
My Reliability Notes The reliability decisions drafted in your name.
My Alerts Anything flagged that involves you.
Give Feedback Tell us when something's wrong or unclear.
Profile Your account, email preferences, and Claude connection.

If you're also an admin you'll see an Admin group below it — that's covered in the Tenant-admin guide.
